IWONA GABRIEL, MD, PhD – Doctor of Medicine since 2008, specialist in gynecology and obstetrics since 2014. From 2007 to 2013 the resident of the Chair and Department of Clinical Gynecology, Obstetrics and Gynecology Gynecology in Bytom. He has been working at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, USA since February 2016. Graduation of the prestigious Oncology Gynecologic Oncology Gynecologic Oncology: a new standard of care (2013) and the scope of minimally invasive gynecology: Advanced Hysteroscopy training (2008), Advanced Hysteroscopy course (2011), Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery to the Extreme – World Cystoscopy & Uretral Stents for Gyn Surgeon, Surgical Procedures for Pelvic Pain and Vaginal Hysterectomy.

Member of the Student Government, Delegate for International Affairs (implementation of the Erasmus Program), Member of the Electoral Committee in the rectors’ elections Silesian Medical University, Vice-President of the Academic Sports Club in the Silesian Medical University, and since 2013 Founder of the Polish Minority Gynecology Association. Member of the Polish Gynecological Society and AAGL (American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists). He has a number of academic achievements, including the function of the Endoscopic Endoscopic Research Assistant for persons undergoing specialized training in obstetrics and gynecology in the years 2015-2016, member of the Scientific Committee evaluating scientific work at the 43rd Global Congress on Minimally Invasive Gynecology, Vancouver, Canada. in 2014 and a member of the Scientific Committee at the 44th Global Congress on Minimally Invasive Gynecology, Las Vegas, USA.
